What started out as a hobby quickly turned into a vision for something bigger. Hunter, our founder, started out by using his mom's oven and his dad's 400 square foot shop. It was here that the vision and genesis of Precision Retrofits was born.

Headlights was and always has been the basis of what Precision Retrofits is. Hunter quickly realized that people were in need of quality customized headlights, badges, and painted parts for their vehicles.

While Hunter's dad's shed worked for the beginning, he knew that if Precision Retrofits was to be something bigger than just a few headlights and tail lights here and there, accommodations needed to be made in order to take the vision to the next level.

In the fall of 2019, Precision Retrofits moved to Jerome, Idaho. Into a 2500 square foot shop with a complete paint booth, vehicle lift and more to take what started out as a hobby to a full blown automotive customization operation.

The business continued to grow and Precision Retrofit's quality and consistency continued to build momentum. So much so to the point that in 2022, we moved across the Magic Valley to Twin Falls into an 8,000 square foot facility.

It was here that we really started to focus on our paint matched parts, custom headlights, and local presence in Idaho.

In the fall of 2024, pieces fell into place where it made the most sense for us to move back to Jerome where we operate to this day. We added a brand new 27' paint booth, situated our space so that we could be as productive as possible while focusing on what we're good at - the highest quality paint work, superior customer service, and the ability to take your truck to the next level.
